Paige Davis is best known as the effervescent host of the groundbreaking, Emmy-nominated design-reality show, TRADING SPACES.
Paige kept up her hosting duties co-hosting HOME AND FAMILY for the Hallmark Channel and was the host of OWN’s HOME MADE SIMPLE, for which she was nominated for a 2013 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Host in a Lifestyle/Travel Program. She ushered in the first ever televised TOILET PAPER WEDDING DRESS CHALLENGE for TLC, and lived out her Great British Baking Show dreams hosting THE HOLIDAY GINGERBREAD SHOWDOWN for The Food Network.
She has spent much of her time focused on her true love — theatre and dance.
Paige gave a triumphant return to her role as Roxie Hart in CHICAGO on Broadway. She played the title role in MAME outside Boston at North Shore Music Theatre. And prior to shooting the reboot of TRADING SPACES she was at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera in MISS ABIGAIL’S GUIDE TO DATING, MATING, AND MARRIAGE. Another recent theater experience had her playing God in AN ACT OF GOD directed by Marsha Mason, making Paige the first woman to play the role, following directly behind Jim Parsons and Sean Hayes. She is also very proud to have starred in the premiere of Mark St. Germain’s new play, DANCING LESSONS.
She received rave reviews for her performance in BOEING! BOEING! on Broadway. Before that she traveled the country performing the title role of SWEET CHARITY in the show’s national Broadway tour. In addition to starring as Roxie Hart on Broadway, she has performed in the U.S. national tour, and international productions of the show. Before CHICAGO, Paige played Babette in the first national tour of Broadway’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, where she met her husband Patrick Page. During her first season on TRADING SPACES their wedding was featured in a prime-time episode of TLC’s A WEDDING STORY and became one of the highest rated cable shows of the season.
Regionally she has appeared opposite Patrick in The Old Globe’s production of I DO! I DO! She has also appeared as Maria in THE SOUND OF MUSIC at the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Val in A CHORUS LINE at the Austin Musical Theatre, April in COMPANY at the Missouri Repertory Theatre, Irene Molloy in HELLO DOLLY!, Katherine in PIPPIN, and others. She has even toured as a dancer with The Beach Boys!
Paige has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tonight Show, The Today Show, The View, The Dr. Phil Show, The Wayne Brady Show, The Martha Stewart Show, and many others. Daytime viewers remember when Oprah turned the tables on Paige, giving designer Nate Berkus free-reign to renovate and redecorate Paige’s Manhattan apartment.
Paige is also in frequent demand as a celebrity spokesperson. Some of her more visible campaigns have included Kodak, Kellogg’s, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fifth Third Bank, Millstone Coffee, and R.C. Willey.
Paige devotes a great deal of time to her favorite charities. She is an official spokesperson for Volunteers of America’s Operation Backpack and a frequent emcee and performer for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, among many others.
A graduate of the Meadows School of the Arts at SMU, Paige lives in Manhattan with her husband and their adorable Maltese, Georgie.
